Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I got you covered with an awesome gift idea you can do right at home. Personalized gifts are a fun way to tell someone you love them. This project is quick and easy…so let those creative juices flow. We are going to create a storybook filled with your favorite memories of you and your special someone using the Polaroid Mint instant digital pocket printer.
What you need:
● Phone with photos
● Blank book (You can even take an old book and create right on the pages to give it a vintage feel) I found mineonline—you can go as big or as small as you want—there are so many options.
● Markers
● Valentine’s Day-themed stickers
● Decorative paper
We all have tons of pictures stored in our phones, so let’s put it to good use with the Polaroid Mint instant printer. First, pick your favorite photos of you and your special human and get to printing. Downloading the Polaroid Mint app and pairing the printer to your phone is a very easy process. The great thing is that it’s available on both iOS and Android.
A suggestion for your book: Create a timeline of your relationship. Start from when the two of you met and tell your story through Polaroid photos up to now. Future hopes and dreams can be written on the last pages as inspiration for times (and photos) to come.
Alright, now that you have your photos printed, let’s start creating your storybook. Start by arranging your photos in the order you plan to place them in the book. Peel off the back of the photo and use the prints as stickers (gotta love the sticky-back). Then place it on the chosen page. This is the fun part—there is no right or wrong way to do this. Fill the pages with Polaroid photos, quotes, stickers, and fun art. I was able to find decorative paper, stickers, and little rhinestones from a nearby craft store to add some extra pop.
Don’t forget to decorate the front cover as well. Personalize it for your special human—something unique that the two of you will love and treasure.
